Pill vitamins came way before Liquid Supplements. Liquid vitamins are in fact, quite a recent invention. For many years, all we had were the pills. It is therefore not surprising that someone coming across the idea of liquid supplements for the very first time might want to know what is in them (the liquid multi vitamins), to make them consider switching from the pill vitamins they'd have always used, and start making use of the liquid vitamins. The marketers of the liquid supplements will of course, tell them that their products are better (actually an improvement on) the pill vitamins they have always taken. Such words, coming from salesmen, are naturally likely to be treated with a lot of skepticism; leading to the question as to whether the liquid multi vitamins are really better than the Pills.

Now the answer to the question as to whether liquid vitamins are better than pill vitamins will most likely depend on what you really mean by 'better.' Ultimately, it turns out that the liquid vitamins are indeed better than pill vitamins in many ways. There are also some ways in which Liquid Supplement are just as good as the Pills, as well as some (few) ways in which they may not be as good as the pill vitamins.
Liquid Vitamin A
Maybe we can start with the ways in which liquid vitamins are better than the pill vitamins. Here we would be looking at something like palatability (they are definitely easier to take). We would also be looking at the fact that most people are generally more at home with the idea of taking supplementary vitamins in liquid form, rather than in pill form, due to simple fact that the taking of pills has a negative connotation to it.
Turning to the ways in which the liquid multi vitamins are just as good as the Pills, we would be looking at the likes of things like health benefits (where the Liquid Supplement are just as beneficial as the pill vitamins). Specific promises we are looking at here would include the usual retinue of immune system strengthening, weight loss help, energy level replenishment, skin improvement and so on. In these regards, the efficacy of the liquid supplements is just as good as that of the traditional pill vitamins.
Finally, we have ways in which the liquid supplement are somewhat not as good as the Pills. Here we would be looking at something like the fact that the liquid multi vitamins usually have to go through degradation by stomach acids as they journey to the small intestine from where they are absorbed into the blood stream. This is unlike the case with pill vitamins, which - thanks to the protective film they come with - can pass through the stomach un-degraded, up to the small intestine, from where they are absorbed into the blood stream. But this 'superiority' of the Pills comes at some expense, because the protective film they are made with (the plastic-like coating) has some potential side effects. In any case, in spite of being subjected to attack by the stomach acids, adequate levels of the liquid vitamins usually get to the small intestines from where they are absorbed into the bloodstream.
